i dont know if this helps… if you are using an older version of windows movie maker, update it. also make sure that the video you are using is a valid video file (.avg, .mpeg, etc…)
On youtube it says the windows movie maker is not formatted to be compatible with online use. But it says I need to format it so it can be uploaded.
You need to convert the videos made by Windows Movie Maker to the video file format that youtube supports, such as FLV, AVI, WMV. So you need a video converter.
Well, I personally use WinX Video Converter. I only want to say I love to create videos by Windows Movie Maker, too.
Step 1] Once you’ve finished your finished click File > Save Movie File
Step 2] It should be highlighted over My Computer already so click Next.
Step 3] Type in what you want it to be called on your comp (you can always change the name when you upload it) in the first blank and the second part choose a place to save it (Desktop is easiest to find your file, you can move it to a folder later). Then hit next.
Step 4] Make sure the circle is filled in with a green dot that has the words: Best quality for playback on my computer (recommended)
Step 5] Just wait for it to download and try uploading that file.
