I think this method would also work to install Vista from your 500GB USB drive
I personally use AVS Video Converter for all my video conversion. It will convert from just about any format to just about any format.
I get to the window that asks me to select windows xp media center edition but i can never click it before it goes to black and goes back to telling me to start it again. I do not have a back up cd, I’m really bad at this, I need detailed instructions not using computer words I don’t know.

MOD converter is a powerful JVC camcorder Mod format video converter which can easily convert MOD to other popular video formats.

well your being a little confusing here but I’ll try any way, can you actual log in to your account? or is this all happening when windows is starting up? if you can log in you should try going on line and downloading some antiviral programs like spy-ware doctor or a squared ( both free programs) if you can’t log in then try booting in safe mod, you can do this when you first turn on your computer and the screen is just black and whit and says what ever brand of computer you have with a loading bar at the bottom,

Mac MTS Converter is especially designed for all High-Definition video lovers to convert MTS files to all kinds of video and audio files.

ones the bar gets about half way full hit the f-8 or f-9 a few times then the screen should go totally black for a min, with a flashing whit under score then you should try hitting f-8 or f-9 a few more times. then a screen should come up with a bunch of different boot options use your arrow keys to highlight the one that says safe boot with networking, or if you don’t wont the internet just safe boot. now hit enter. log into you account and try to work out the problem from there if you can’t figure it out on your own then you should probably take it to a computer doctor. hop this helped :)
easiest thing to do when you see that screen is press the f8 key on your keyboard.
then use the up and down arrows to find the option that says “boot into safe mode”
if after starting in safe mode the computer restarts on its own again, the issue is something you will need to bring into a computer store to take a look at. always better safe than sorry..
based on the fact you seem to be in what we call a ‘reboot loop’, trying to boot into safe mode is the easiest way to test it out
you’ll need a disk to fix this
I want to install Windows 7 RC on my test computer and I saw that there were two options.

HD Video Converter can easily convert HD video formats such as AVCHD (mts, m2ts), H.264/AVC, MKV, MPEG-2 (ts), DivX, HD WMV, MPEG-4 and Quick Time.

Upgrade and a Clean Install.
This might sound like a dumb question, but is there any difference?
Thanks!
I knew about the obvious one – keeping files and folders.
I thought something else would happen lol.
Thanks.
An upgrade just upgrades the Windows files…keeping all your data files and installed programs on your computer.
An install you wipe your hard drive and install a fresh copy…losing any installed programs or data files you have saved.
