i have windows vista and a 17″ widescreen monitor. Normally the resolution is set at 1440×900 but it changed to 800×600 by itself and when i try to change it, it doesnt give me widescreen resolution options. How do i fix this? ive already tried reinstalling the monitor driver.
Try reinstalling your Video/Graphics card drivers, and adjusting resolution using that driver’s interface.
For instance, my Nvdia drivers allow me to specify and force non-standard resolutions, which you may want to try, if your graphics card drivers allow for this.
You messed up the video driver.Go to the makers website and download the latest
Unplugg plug back in monitor restart.
