My friends using yahoo messenger can see my display image nicely but the ones using windows live messenger only see a grey smiley. I have ‘share my display image’ ticked in the options thing. Moreover, I can’t see their (windows live messenger using people) display images either.

I want to record and make my own movie reviews, and I want to use clips from the movies i’m talking about in the review. I’m using windows movie maker, and I was wondering how to do it. Similar to people who record scene from a movie and upload it to youtube.

If the file is downloaded from your camera onto your computer, go to Import Media at the top left and find the clip.

Hmm..swapping a reliable but old operating system for a new but bad one (just read some of the many problems people have had with Vista, and only recently). I’m using Windows XP and have never had any problems…must be lucky…or knowledgeable..or conservatively careful in how I use the internet…
It is worth waiting for the right key to arrive. Meanwhile you could still use the upgraded version of Vista but you must remove that and the old Vista operating system before it once you’re ready to install Windows XP.
