I wanted to jailbreak my ipod touch and i was using a youtube video to help me and it said if using windows vista do this at your own risk. So need to figure out if my computer is windows vista or not.
Go to the Start menu, if it says “My Computer”, you have XP. If it says “Computer”, you have Vista. To see which one you have go to Start and right-click on My Computer/Computer and it will tell you.
Go to your control panel and look for system and maintenance.
Click on system and it will tell you exactly what system you are using.
Dude, you don’t know what operating system you have? There are many versions of Windows. Right click your My Computer icon on the desk top, Select properties from the menu. That will give you everything you need.
Never heard of regualr windows, do you mean windows XP? Just so you know, there is no such thing as regular windows.
It should be very obovious what operating system you have, you should see an icon during bottom up. Otherwise click stat, right my computer, properties and that will tell you.
