I personally recomend the Replay Converter free trial. It converts almost anything into anything you want. The Nidesoft Video Converter is handy also but not as simple. Links to the trial downloads can be found here
you need to convert the video file into something moviemaker recognizes…however, before converting it, first, open up to that folder, and underneath the open file thing, there should be a drop-down menu…select all files and the file should show up…then open the file and it will tell you whether the file is compatible with moviemaker
personally that’s what i hate about windows…nothing good ever works on it
I am trying to get my Windows Media Player to loop and play the song over and over by itself so i do not have to get up and click the play button when the song ends to replay it. Does anyone know how?
there is a repeat button at the bottom of the full screen interface. it is an arrow in the form of a circle. point to it and it will say “turn repeat on”.

Can I legally install that copy of Windows on a different computer (that is not a Gateway)? My sister bought a Dell laptop, which came with Vista and she doesn’t like it. Will my OS install cd work?
First of all the copy of windows in the Gateway laptop is tied to the original hardware, you are not allowed to swap it.And even if you could as soon as the CD detects a non Getway BIOS on the other computer it will stop the installation
It won’t be legal because it was an OEM version for that laptop. Also XP is going to be a dead duck soon. Vista has had enough fixes to make it stable enough to use, she’s better sticking with that, than having a version that Microsoft will recognise as illegal and not update.
